At Club Loveland, we’re pleased to offer our members the option of taking Pilates Reformer Training or Pilates Mat Classes. If you’re new to it, Pilates exercise increases balance, posture and flexibility, strengthens your core, and helps you gain muscle tone.

Pilates is a practice that focuses on developing core strength, balance, and flexibility.  With the use of the reformer you can achieve movements and positions that activate your core while relying on the extremities to aid in applying resistance and control, strengthening your core while achieving increased overall balance and flexibility.

 

You may not always build up a sweat, it’s a practice built on breathing and concentration, using precision and control with your movements.

Pilates Mat Classes

If you’re new to Pilates or a seasoned participant, Pilates mat classes are a no-brainer! Mat work provides undeniable benefits to grounding your toning, flexibility, and posture workouts. They are the foundation to mastering movement techniques like a neutral spine, properly engaged core, c-curve, pelvic stability, spinal articulation, and full breathing. And, if you want to give our Pilates reformer classes a try, you’ll already have the foundational principles deep-rooted in your movement on the mat.

 

If you have questions about Pilates or are uncertain which class to try first, ask our Pilates fitness instructors! We would be more than happy to speak with you about your fitness goals and determine the most suitable small group Pilates class at Club Loveland for you. And, if you can’t make it to an instructor led in-person class, give our Fitness on Demand Pilates classes a go!

 

Pilates mat classes are included in your Club Loveland gym membership. Pilates Reformer Training may be purchased for a small nominal fee.
